Romans 4:25

WHO WAS DELIVERED FOR OUR OFFENCES, AND WAS RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION.

Who Was Delivered

Our offenses are our sins against God's Law.  We have all offended God's Law but Jesus Christ was delivered from heaven to earth, from life to death. He did this for a reason: to give us a way to be justified before a holy God.  Many people believe that God cannot punish sin because he is love. God is love and he does love but he is also just. sin must be punished so Jesus was delivered to death to take the punishment upon himself.

Raised Again

Jesus Christ Is God so he could not nor would he continue in death. He rose from the dead after three days! He rose by his own power, the power of God. Jesus Christ proved that he could and did pay for the sins of the world. He had the power to Rise from the dead, he has the power to pay for every sin ever committed, even for the most vile person. He can save anyone from their sins!

Justification

When you trust that Jesus Died for your sins and that he rose from the dead proving that He is the all-Powerful God you become justified before God. You no longer will personally pay for you sins through eternal punishment in hell. It is just for God to forgive you because Jesus took that punishment upon himself!
